Mid North Occupational Therapy is a private practice committed to providing high quality, responsive paediatric services to the Port Pirie, Mid North, Upper North, and Yorke Peninsula communities. Providing a supportive and nuturing environment to grow your skills and experience, with a strong commitment to quality clinical supervision and support for professional development.
You will work with children and their families who are experiencing a range of developmental and disability issues to achieve their goals and maximise their skills and potential. You will work with families in an empowering, flexible and enabling way to develop their skills.
You will bring with you skills and knowledge in disability, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delays. You will be able to draw on evidence-informed practice to set goals with families, and develop and implement therapy plans. You will have strong interpersonal skills to develop therapeutic relationships with families and written communication skills to keep accurate case notes and high quality reports. You will be able to develop quality working relationships with other service providers and community stakeholders.
You will hold current AHPRA registration, and a current Department of Communities and Social Inclusion Child-Related Employment Screening.
You will hold a full unrestricted drivers licence and regular travel is a requirement of the position.
