Occupational Therapy Job Summary:
This varied role is open to an Occupational Therapist with experience gained in the disabilities sector and keen to work with NDIS clients in Sydney.

This is a varied role, well-suited to a positive, autonomous and motivated professional with strong experience gained in the disabilities sector. Your role is to assist participants in accessing NDIS services. You will liaise with a range of stakeholders in order to secure suitable support for individuals living with a disability, including requesting and arranging quotes from service providers. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating participants’ support plans to enable independence in the home and community. You will be confident in the facilitation of effective working relationships and communications with the carers, family, external services and other key stakeholders to help provide the most well-rounded support available for participants under NDIS support plans.
AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist
Relevant experience in a similar community-based service delivery role.
Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Experience interacting with a customer base of diverse backgrounds including people with disability
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Demonstrated time management and IT skills (Microsoft Office programs in particular)
A current driver’s licence and own car (travel reimbursed)
Cleared, or ability to gain a Working with Children Check and Criminal History Check.
